MODULAR CONSTRUCTION

Our Mission

Modular construction is the future of mining infrastructure. As a discipline it’s roots are in projects where construction on site is impossible, but modular transportation is feasible. With today’s technology, the precision risk management required to make any project a maximum gage modular design is at our fingertips.

What is Maximum Gage?

  • Most projects use modular construction as a fallback option for construction tasks that are difficult or impossible to achieve on site. It is a bottom up approach to strategy that overlooks many opportunities to improve cost and schedule.

  • Maximum Gage is a top down approach that starts with the maximum possible module size at each logistics stage. The project baseline is defined using a Maximum Gage philosophy, giving the client more flexibility to optimize their project as it develops.

THINK BIGGER. BUILD BIGGER.

Why Modularize?

  • Active construction sites are dynamic risk management environments. The changes in risk assessment --  safety, quality, or budgetary – vary drastically from day to day.

  • Working off-site offers increasing degrees of environment control, from off site yards, to port staging areas, to fabrication shops, all the way to component factories.

  • Modularization seeks to study the logistics feasibility of pre-assembling structures and pre-installing components outside of the work front.

  • By identifying what can be done first, clients are given a full toolbox of strategies to pursue which allow them to minimize safety risks, minimize on-site manpower, improve quality, and improve schedule.
